JCPE PURPOSE

The purpose of the Jurisdictional Council of Pastors and Elders is to insure and protect the rights and privileges of the Pastors and Elders of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of which they are apart, also to insure they understand the relationship between their role as Pastors and Elders with that of the Jurisdictional Bishop's authority under whom they serve in the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, this includes but not limited to their duties, responsibilities, obligations, liability and accountability.

BISHOP DR. M. A. FUTRELL

Dr. Marquaello Futrell, Sr., serves as Senior Pastor of All Creation NH Family COGIC and as District Superintendent covering six churches in Eastern Missouri First Jurisdiction (EMFJ), where he is also CFO and an Administrative Assistant to Bishop William Harper. A native of St. Louis, he holds a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University, a graduate degree in Legal Studies from Washington University, and a BA in American Studies from Webster University. Dr. Futrell is deeply engaged in his community, organizing outreach initiatives like the annual SOS events and Camp Destiny through his nonprofit, Destined to Win Ministries, providing resources, scholarships, and hope to the Ferguson and North County communities.

CHAIRMAN KIEMBA KNOWLIN

Elder Kiemba Knowlin exemplifies servant leadership through his dedication to ministry, military service, and professional excellence. Overcoming a challenging childhood, he began preaching at 15 and now serves as an Administrative Assistant to COGIC Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard, Vice Chairman of the General Council of Pastors and Elders, and Superintendent of the Bishop H.J. Williams Memorial District. A U.S. Army veteran and former First Lieutenant, Elder Knowlin transitioned to civilian leadership as Director of Logistics for the Department of Defense. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry and advanced certifications in program and logistics management. Married to Tausha Knowlin, they are proud parents of seven children and four grandchildren.

CHAIRMAN MICHAEL EADDY

Pastor Michael Eaddy has led the People’s Church of the Harvest in Chicago, IL, for over 44 years, combining ministry with transformative community development. As President of the People’s Community Development Association of Chicago, he has spearheaded programs supporting over 4,400 ex-offenders, mentoring youth, and developing affordable housing, including the $13.5 million Harvest Homes Apartments and the upcoming $32 million Harvest Homes II. Internationally, he serves as Chairman of the General Council of Pastors and Elders for the Church of God in Christ. A recipient of two honorary Doctorates of Divinity, Pastor Eaddy is a devoted husband to Lady Christine Eaddy, with whom he shares four children and eight grandchildren.

Chairman Rodney Douglas brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his leadership role, marked by his tireless commitment to the mission of the Church of God in Christ and its judicial branch. Deeply involved in his community, Chairman Douglas balances his demanding responsibilities with grace and efficiency, demonstrating an unwavering passion for upholding the church's values. Amid his busy schedule, he remains devoted to his family, embodying the principles of faith, integrity, and service in every aspect of his life.
